A design team will often want a single showpiece, a capsule of a dozen, or a limited drop that a machine-knitting factory will not quote. The minimum is not a negotiation point; it is the floor below which the machine setup is not worth recovering.
Because KOCO uses no machines, there is no setup to recover and no minimum to clear. The same written-pattern process that produces a commercial run produces one piece. Pattern writing and sampling are included, so you are not paying a separate development fee to test a small idea.

Brief and feasibility
Send an image or sketch. We confirm the piece is feasible at the quantity you want and return an indicative costing.
Pattern and swatch
We write the pattern for your size or sizes and knit prototype swatches so you can check tension/gauge and hand feel before committing.
Knit to order
One artisan knits the piece from first stitch to last. Because there is no machine, one piece and a small run cost the same per garment to set up.
Finish and dispatch
The piece is hand-finished and checked before it is sent.
