KOCO knits small bees by hand as corporate gifts. Each bee is made by a single artisan, from first stitch to last, using the same written-pattern method, bamboo and timber needles, and zero-electricity production that we apply to our fashion-house work. No machines are used at any stage.
What makes the bee a CSR gift rather than a novelty is the provenance behind it. Every piece is made by hand in one of our village hubs in rural Tamil Nadu. The gift arrives with a verifiable story of how it was made and where, which is what a sustainability or compliance lead can stand behind in a report.

KOCO was commissioned to knit a 12 square metre mural as a Sustainable Development Goal artwork. It is the largest single piece in the programme and a demonstration of what hand-knitting can do at architectural scale: a continuous, stitched surface made by artisans, with no machines and no electricity in production.
The mural shows that the same method that produces a fine garment can produce a wall-scale artwork, stitch by stitch, to a written pattern. It is the reference point for any organisation considering a bespoke commission at scale.
